A hypothesis on the implementation of the snooze on Echo Dot 3 with Clock

When we installed an Echo Dot 3 with Clock, there was an interesting reminder from the Alexa app. After an alarm goes off, the user can tap the top of the device to snooze, provided that the mic is not muted.

Can we infer that the device picks up the user's command to snooze through acoustics?
