The Moto Z family of phones do not have built-in support for wireless charging. You’ll need the Moto Mod called "moto style shell with wireless charging" (Model: MD100W).

Note
- Do not use the 5W iPhone square plug or a computer USB port to power your ZMI wireless charger.
- Use an 18W Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 AC adapter with the wireless charger for fast charging.
- Actual charging speed may vary, subject to the phone's thermal management and throttling.
- If the red LED indicator light flashes, please make sure the space between your phone and charging pad is less than 4 mm and has no metal objects (coins, ring stand, finger grip, car mount, chip cards, etc.) in between. If so, remove the objects and see if charging goes back to normal.
- The Non-Bundle - Charging Pad Only option does not include any USB AC adapters. For optimal performance, use the wireless charger with a Quick Charge 3.0 enabled AC adapter.
