Yes. Using our PowerPack Ambi 10K power bank (with cell capacity 37Wh), we were able to power the clock for 25 hours in standby mode (with clock display on; without music play). Standby current approx. 250mA at 5V. Moreover, the PowerPack Ambi sustained continuous music playing (via Pandora streaming) of the Reason ONE for 22 hours.

Yes, this usage is supported. Two prerequisites: 1) Your phone has adequate plan with your 4G LTE service carrier to act as a Wi-Fi hotspot. 2) There's 4G LTE coverage where you're traveling. One suggestion: It'd be a good idea to set up the clock with your phone at a location where the 4G LTE signal is strong and the environment is safe.

This can be done using Routines in the Alexa app on your phone. A routine consists of a trigger condition and a consequent action.

  • Open the Alexa app, tap the upper-left corner to expand the menu, and tap Routines.
  • Create a new routine with "When this happens" being set as a "Schedule." The "Schedule" can be selected to be a specific time and repeat pattern.
  • Then, add an action for playing a radio station of your choice (the radio station needs to be available through Alexa.). This screenshot illustrates one possible setup.

You can edit an existing routine. In the "Edit Routine" screen, tap the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner to reveal to the options of "Play Routine" and "Delete Routine."

No. The Reason Home app will only work with the Reason ONE alarm clock. The app does not support the Xiaomi clock.
